Calvori Hearing is locally owned and operated. It is owned by Luigi Calvori and his wife, Lynne. Luigi looks after the day-to-day operations of the company, and Lynne lets him know if he’s doing a good job or not. Lynne does not work in the clinic: she is a speech-language pathologist who works in the public health system.
Luigi is an audiologist, having earned his master of science in Audiology from the University of British Columbia in the spring of 2000.
Since that time, he has worked as an audiologist, primarily in Nanaimo. Prior to being an audiologist Luigi worked as a speech-language pathologist (he has a masters degree in that discipline as well).
Prior to spending many years studying at various universities, Luigi worked for several years in logging camps as an industrial first aid attendant.
Luigi was born on Vancouver Island. He has participated in amateur theatre groups, including Nanaimo Theatre Group, in the areas of writing, acting, directing, and photography. He also enjoys playing the accordion, although seldom out of the protected space of his living room.
Sandy is the office manager. She has worked in the industry as an Audiometric Technician and Customer Care Representative since March of 2000.
Prior to this, Sandy ran a daycare for 9 years, which allowed her to stay at home and raise her 3 wonderful daughters. She also has a degree in Education from the University of Alberta.
Sandy was born in Camrose, Alberta where she met and married her high school sweetheart.
She has many interests and activities but taking care of her family is on the top of the list.
